Workshop

Our workshop is divided into four departments, with each employee assigned specific tasks.

Pre-milling:

This is the first step. All of the lumber, veneer and boards are rough cut, trimmed, planed and grouped together. We apply our own wood veneer using specialized tools.

Milling

Thanks to state-of-the-art machinery, including 5 axis, we cut the wood to the exact measurements, then shape and assemble it.

Assembling

This is where the real craftmanship of furniture making takes place. After the pieces are joined together and the woodworking process is complete, the piece of furniture is then fitted and trimmed flush. The joints will be adjusted, the fasteners added, and finally it will be lightly sanded for an optimal finish.

Finishing

This is the last step and focuses on treating the surface of the wood. We have a large selection of finishes: natural, oiled, sable, stained, varnished, lacquered or polished.

All of these processes are done on site with our own equipment (sandblasters, stain sprayers, and three varnishing booths) and our own workstations (polishing, reassembly, quality control).

Subcontracting

Each of these steps can be done separately. In fact, based on a special request, we can subcontract specific tasks such as milling or finishing.

Over the years we have developed partnerships within a wide network of craftsman such as mirror specialists, stone masons, and leatherworkers; meaning that we can respond favourably to client specific requests.
